Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
This role serves a purpose as a Brand Ambassador and Custodian of the Mandai brand world, driving the deployment of the master, corporate and destination brands, while strategising with Management and the appointed partner agency to consistently grow Mandai as a trusted biodiversity brand with deep, emotional affinity across diverse audience and markets, as well as internally for employees of the Group.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business administration or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in brand, marketing roles (brand management, creative content, digital marketing, advertising, project management).
  • Strategic thinker and analytical
  • Strong writer and communicator with conviction in the organisational purpose and influential in stakeholder engagements.

Responsibilities

Develop a brand positioning strategy to unify communications and marketing campaigns:

  • Lead the planning and development of an overarching brand positioning strategy for Mandai, the master brand through converging inputs from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct brand positioning clinics to engage product and communications owners.
  • Through consistent narratives, build strong recall and appropriate associations for the Mandai family of brands.

Anchor brand campaigns in conservation-led narratives and build emotional affinity

  • Identify budget allocation and garner approval for concept.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the annual brand tracker for consumer sentiments, loyalty and brand engagement to increase awareness of Mandai as a biodiversity brand strong recall/affinity for our Masterbrand.
