We have an exciting role available, for a Senior Manager Business Continuity to join our Global Risk Group within Computershare Shared Services.
The Senior Manager Business Continuity is a senior role within the Second Line of Defence Risk Group in Computershare’s Global Risk organisation, reporting to the Global Head of Business Resiliency.

A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
As a Senior Manager Business Continuity, you will be responsible for supporting and overseeing first line businesses in their management of operational resilience, including but not limited to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
Furthermore, you will work collaboratively across teams within the department, supporting continuous improvement and project related activity related to the role.
Although the role will be based in either Bristol or Edinburgh, you will be responsible for supporting and overseeing CPU business lines which operate in the UK and the US.
Key Responsibilities include:
Ensuring that the Major Incident Management Policy has been implemented adequately to ensure that CPU businesses can recover from major disruptions.Partnering with colleagues within the Global Risk Group to ensure that processes in the GRC tool remain adequate and fit for purpose for all business resilience planning and execution activity.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?
The position requires prior experience in risk advisory, as well as legal, audit and compliance experience within a global organization. You will fully understand Business resilience and associated practices (supporting development of Business Impact Assessments (BIA), Business Continuity planning, Disaster Recovery, critical process identification, recovery strategy development, coordinating and conducting exercises, incident management, Key Risk Indicator (KRI) identification, monitoring, tracking, reporting), and will facilitate the development of an appropriate risk strategy aligned with corporate strategy.
Other experience and key skills:
Personal integrity, the ability to lead a small team (project basis) and take leadership of specific tasks and activities.Self-starter with the ability to deliver under pressure.
