ACCOUNTABILITIES

Reporting to the VP, Executive Journey Product Owner, Advice Journey & Enablement, the Senior Manager, Business Integration role a requires a highly analytical, strategic problem solver, with a combination of strong P&L understanding / scenario planning, relationship management, and business acumen.

This role will be responsible for the following within Private Wealth Management:

  • Owns integrated initiative planning and pan-PWM change calendar / field capacity planning.
  • Consolidation of P&L management planning across PWM Strategy & Solutions.
  • Identify trends, opportunities and potential challenges in the P&L and determine options to progress.
  • Lead the relationship with Finance on medium term outlook and fiscal plan formation.
  • Lead the relationship with Wealth National Office partners from Business Management and Strategy.
  • Lead and support the planning of strategic initiatives across PWM.
  • Prepare and delivery executive level presentations and reports.

The Senior Manager will build and lead a team of professionals and set the team’s direction based on strategic priorities and lead the team to deliver with excellence by:

  • Setting a persuasive vision and inspire team to engage
  • Setting ambitious goals and pursue innovate solutions to complex problems.
  • Supporting employees in their personal and professional performance development through regular coaching and feedback.
  • Creating and fostering a cohesive team and promote a positive work environment with open communication and the sharing of experiences and/or knowledge.
  • Participate in Action Planning meetings for TD Pulse.

The Senior Manager will also work closely with partners across PWM (including PIA/PIC, PB, HNW Experience, PT, WAS, E&T), and engage with Financial Planning, Direct Investing, Wealth National Office, Finance, AI2 and Platform teams as needed.
This role will also require direct engagement with the SVP and Head of Private Wealth Management so the applicable candidate must possess executive level written and verbal communication skills.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR ACCREDITATION

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration or Commerce. MBA would be an asset.
  • Previous experience in Private Wealth Management (Advice), Private Banking, and/or Product Management would be an asset.

  • Strong business and financial acumen with exceptional analytical skills –ability to quickly absorb information on a variety of complex issues (financial and non‐financial) and provide insights on key issues and prepare presentations on findings
  • Proven strong organizational skills and comfortable in operating in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate among various businesses, balancing multiple partner needs to gain consensus to define and execute one mandate
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written and verbally) to a broad audience, at a number of levels, including SVP+
  • Proven ability to think strategically, excellent problem‐solving skills and decisively make recommendations in a timely manner
  • Ability to see business processes through a client lens
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined leader
