Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Manager, Cold Star Operations, on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team.
This position requires on-site work and is based in Victoria, British Columbia.

WHO YOU ARE:

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

  • Have 8+ years of relevant progressively responsible leadership experience in operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing logistics operations.
  • Have a Diploma in Business or Supply Chain Management or related field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • CCLP, SCMP or equivalent designation is considered an asset.
  • Sales experience would be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and optimize end-to-end Coldstar operations—including transportation, warehousing, sales, finance, HR, and wholesale—to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-performing supply chain execution. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence through strategic planning, performance monitoring, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that align Coldstar’s operations with FCL’s broader supply chain goals, translating high-level strategies into measurable improvements in efficiency, service, and cost. This role also leads long-term initiatives focused on growth, innovation, network optimization, and technology-driven transformation.
  • Lead the development and oversight of departmental and cross-functional budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial discipline. This role delivers data-driven recommendations, adapts to changing market conditions, and proactively manages risks and opportunities to maintain financial resilience.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators to drive operational excellence, using data insights to identify gaps, lead root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. This role fosters cross-functional collaboration, and a culture of accountability, efficiency, and innovation aligned with broader supply chain goals.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team by fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous learning. This role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and succession planning to build long-term organizational strength and drive results aligned with strategic objectives.

    The Team: You will work closely with members of the Coldstar Operations team and will have 4 direct reports.
