JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the AVP, Colleague Experience, the Senior Manager, Colleague Engagement will be responsible for identifying opportunities that recognize, celebrate, and enhance the overall colleague experience across TD Insurance (TDI). This role oversees a high-impact portfolio that includes events, rewards & recognition, and creative services. The incumbent is responsible for the following accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage the TDI Colleague Engagement team, including development and execution of a strategic plan to evolve and grow the TDI culture.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of TDI conferences, webcasts, offsites, including the TDI All Stars annual R&R award program.
  • Managing event budgets, vendors, and logistics across the country.
  • Oversight of day-to-day recognition practices inclusive of experiences, allocation of awards, budget, and execution to achieve meaningful colleague experiences.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to ensure alignment with performance and values.
  • Shape internal communication that support business priorities, enhance transparency, and connect colleagues to the TDI Mission.
  • Oversight of TD Appreciate!, fully utilizing both enterprise programs and internal initiatives to drive usage and engagement.
  • Build relationships with leadership to leverage experiences/expertise and identify opportunities to further enhance the employee experience and shareholder value.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of individual lines of business, as well as a consolidated view to identify and leverage strategic opportunities and tactics that enhance business performance and colleague experience and engagement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Passion for driving the colleague experience and creating a positive workplace.
  • A natural collaborator with experience delivering engaging colleague programs that inspire and connect colleagues across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering programs that improve colleague engagement, culture, and communication.
  • Ability to navigate and leverage internal relationships and functional areas across the organization, with a proven ability to get things done.
  • Strong relationship management capabilities and experience is a desired asset.
  • Highly motivated individual with a proven track record of delivering results through ambiguity.
  • Able to deliver on multiple priorities and the requests of multiple executive stakeholders in a fast paced and very dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to impact and influence results.
  • Proven / strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with proven ability to manage by positive influence and work effectively with several senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated excellence as a consensus builder, a self-starter, team player.
