We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Business Controls & Monitoring to support first‑line risk management within the Commodities, Trade & Transition (CTT) business in Westpac Institutional Banking. In this role, you’ll partner closely with business leaders and risk teams to help identify, manage, and monitor non‑financial risks such as operational and compliance risk. You’ll support the embedment of Westpac’s risk frameworks, strengthen controls, and promote a strong risk culture that balances commercial outcomes with customer and regulatory expectations. You’ll work across the three lines of defence, provide practical risk advice, and help ensure risks, controls, incidents, and issues are managed consistently across the end‑to‑end value chain. This is a Sydney‑based role with flexible working arrangements (3 days in office). What do I need? We’re looking for someone who brings strong risk experience and can confidently partner with senior stakeholders.
