  The opportunity
  The Senior Manager – Community Programs leads a number of Red Cross’ community programs that support clients to maintain social connectedness, independence, improve health and wellbeing outcomes.
  The position is accountable for ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to our clients, communities and consumers, compliance with standards and legislation, operational performance, and financial sustainability.
  This role is a member of the Senior Leadership team, demonstrating our constructive culture, supporting high performance teams, coaching and guiding our employees, volunteers and members.

What you will bring

• Proven track record as an effective leader, supporting and building positive and constructive relationships within teams
• Demonstrated high level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including an ability to influence and build rapport across a range of teams and departments catering for diversity within the team
• Substantial experience in managing change, identifying and adopting new ways of working, and negotiating on matters of significance to assist in securing the cooperation of key stakeholders.
• Experience and deep understanding of the community care sector
• Working with children check
• Australian Drivers licence
