As we continue to scale and prepare for our next phase of growth, including IPO readiness, we are seeking an exceptional Company Secretary to serve as a trusted governance partner to the Board, General Counsel, and senior leadership team. This is not a passive administrative role. This is a strategic governance leadership role requiring maturity, judgment, resilience, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage Board and Committee operations, including agendas, papers, resolutions, minutes, and action tracking Act as the key liaison between the Board, Committees, and management across multiple jurisdictions Advise senior leadership and the Board on governance, corporate secretarial, and regulatory matters Oversee statutory filings, corporate records, and governance documentation across the Group Coordinate and manage external corporate secretarial providers and legal counsel Support IPO readiness initiatives, including governance structuring and documentation preparedness Engage effectively with Board members, regulators, investors, and senior stakeholders with professionalism and discretion Drive consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement in governance and corporate secretarial processes across the organisation These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role: Minimum 15 years of Company Secretarial or governance experience, preferably within listed companies, multinational corporations, or high-growth organisations Qualified Company Secretary under the Chartered Governance Institute of Singapore (CGIS) with ACG or FCG designation required MAICSA / Chartered Governance Institute Malaysia qualification is a plus Law degree (LLB or equivalent) preferred Strong experience supporting Boards, Board Committees, and senior leadership Experience in IPO readiness, public company governance, or multi-jurisdictional structures is highly desirable Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and Companies Act requirements in Singapore and Malaysia At Teleport, we’re all about creating a diverse and inclusive team where everyone feels valued.
