JOB DESCRIPTION:

TD Bank is seeking a Senior Manager to prepare executive reporting content for compliance and risk stakeholders. This critical role will lead enterprise risk related compliance reporting and initiatives, in partnership with enterprise risk management stakeholders. Key activities include updating the enterprise risk framework and taxonomies, and executing other risk activities from a compliance lens. The role requires a strategic mindset, deep knowledge of compliance risk frameworks, excellent business writing skills, and strong executive communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and draft content for the annual refresh of the compliance sections for the enterprise risk taxonomy and compliance risk frameworks, and off-cycle updates as required.
  • Lead compliance risk taxonomy updates with compliance leadership, and incorporate industry insights and compliance risk knowledge into risk taxonomy definitions.
  • Drive the annual refresh and calibration of the risk appetite statement measures and scorecards for compliance-owned measures.
  • Review monthly enterprise risk dashboards and incorporate content from enterprise compliance programs and individual compliance units.
  • Draft top and emerging risks for compliance on a quarterly basis, incorporating information from the regulatory change program and other board and management reporting.
  • Maintain consistency and connectivity between all compliance reporting for enterprise risk management.
  • Create and execute an annual workback plan for enterprise risk reporting and draft job aids.
  • Coordinate across multiple compliance and risk stakeholders and effectively challenge the quality of compliance and risk data insights as required.
  • Make sure latest regulatory expectations and supervisory feedback are incorporated into reporting documentation and routines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, or a related compliance role.

  • Strong executive writing skills for senior audiences focused on messaging, clarity, and precision. - - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - especially Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across different Compliance groups to drive high-quality and accurate reporting insights.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to escalate and articulate risks to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools including PowerBI and Tableau a plus.
