What’s the role?  The Business and Wealth Division (BWD) Business Controls and Monitoring (BCM) team plays a critical role in supporting our BWD business, operational and distribution teams to effectively manage their risk. We provide specialist knowledge across the full spectrum of risks, supporting our business partners to achieve the best outcomes for our customers. The Senior Manager, Conduct and Monitoring reports into the Executive Manager, Conduct and Monitoring lead within the BWD BCM team. The role covers a broad range of activities including management and oversight of staff conduct matters and underlying investigations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement of BWD’s monitoring and insight capabilities by harnessing data, driving controls uplift using AI and automation tools and providing timely and actionable insights to senior stakeholders across BWD. What do I need?  * Supporting Executive Manager, Conduct and Monitoring in executing division wide governance and reporting requirements including providing high quality, timely actionable insights to the BWD leadership team on emerging thematic from staff conduct matters * Driving execution of divisional strategy for uplifting the monitoring control environment including automated control management to meet the Group’s requirements and standards. * Support strategic initiatives to simplify, remediate and/or optimise our controls and monitoring approach in a range of risk areas including fraud, staff conduct and consequence management, customer conduct, and compliance risk. * Thinking critically and practically to identify and solve problems and improve efficiencies tailored to business needs. * Building and maintaining strong and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Enterprise and the ability to critically challenge and face into complex problems where required. * Proactively work with other members in the team to identify industry trends and best practice risk management approaches.
