Job Description

Tasks

  • In your role, you’ll be jointly responsible for the content proposition and experience of Sky and partner content, with a focus on the continuous development and optimization of our portfolio (taking customer needs, market trends, and the Sky Group strategy into account)
  • You’ll act as the commercial counterpart to our Group Partnership Team, maintaining and expanding our content partnerships with providers such as Netflix, DAZN, Paramount+, Discovery+, and others
  • In close coordination with our Entertainment and Sports teams, you’ll also be co-responsible for the strategic direction of Sky/WOW regarding our content line-up and partnerships
  • Additionally, you’ll be responsible for the Sky/WOW content roadmap, which serves as the foundation for the commercial planning of the trading teams. This includes the development of RTBs (Reasons to Believe) and key messages and ensuring that they are consistently communicated across various channels
  • In collaboration with the Product Proposition & Commercial Strategy teams, you’ll also be co-responsible for the in-life management of content, packages, and TV products (e.g., new product features, content deals, commercial bundling, pricing & packaging, etc.)
  • As Senior Manager Content Proposition (m/f/d), you’ll actively contribute to the development of Sky’s content strategy to promote brand awareness, growth, and profitability
  • Together with our Content Insight Team, you’ll analyze user data and KPIs to evaluate the performance of our content and further develop our content strategy based on these insights
  • Another responsibility is to drive innovation at Sky by identifying new market trends and opportunities for our business, as well as pursuing new approaches to further optimize our content portfolio and experience

Requirements

  • You’ve a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with 5-6 years of experience in the product/content/proposition area of a pay-TV company or a similar field and bring relevant experience in the German market
  • Through your professional experience, you’ve the ability to develop a content proposition that ensures our commercial goals and clearly highlights the value of the Sky/partner content line-up
  • With your experience and trained eye, you can quickly and accurately capture the competition and market trends, and based on that, effectively highlight our USPs
  • You’re skilled in managing multiple and simultaneous projects independently and can professionally and efficiently react to short-term changes under pressure
  • You describe yourself as a cooperative team player (m/f/d) and creative problem solver (m/f/d), focused on the practical and scalable implementation of projects & you work in a detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and results-driven manner
  • Your passion for sports & fictional content, combined with your industry knowledge and experience in developing successful content offerings, as well as your strong “Can-Do” attitude, set you apart from others
  • You’ve very good German and good English skills (both written and spoken), as well as strong communication and presentation skills that complete your profile
