CATEGORY KNOWLEDGE:

• Demonstrated proficiency of the energy contract portfolio:
• fundamental and technical market dynamics
• pricing comparisons between supplier offerings for various products
• pipeline and transmission networks, capacity markets and physical flow patterns
• federal and state regulatory issues which impact energy delivery and costs
• awareness of legislative issues that impact energy and utility industry
• understanding of energy cost drivers
• resource issues that impact long term supply/demand balance
• risk management techniques and modeling

SUPPLIER KNOWLEDGE:

• Must use knowledge of energy suppliers to develop strategies, create leverage, mitigate risks, and anticipate direction of the energy market including:
• interpretation of Supplier SEC filings, annual reports, or analyst reports
• discussion of future resource and capacity availability with suppliers and customers
• investigation of new electricity and natural gas supplier entrants to energy market
• consultation with HealthTrust legal team and Energy contracting team on master purchasing agreements

3 YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED5-10 YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:ENERGY COMMODITY TRADINGNATURAL GAS OR ELECTRICITY INDUSTRYENERGY MARKETINGCONTRACTING FINANCIAL ANALYSISCOMMODITY RISK MANAGEMENTCERTIFIED ENERGY PROCUREMENT (CEP) OR OTHER COMPARABLE AEE CERTIFICATIONS PREFERREDMUST HAVE STRONG ANALYTICAL SKILLS WITH THE ABILITY TO CREATE OR INTERPRET POTENTIALLY COMPLEX FINANCIAL MODELS.EXPERT KNOWLEDGE OF ALL MS OFFICE PRODUCTS AND ENERGY MARKET LICENSED PRODUCTS (BLOOMBERG, DTN, PLATTS)EXCELLENT ORAL, WRITTEN COMMUNICATION, PRESENTATION AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLSACCREDITED COLLEGE BACHELOR’S DEGREE REQUIRED IN ENGINEERING, BUSINESS, ACCOUNTING OR FINANCE.
