Description POSITION SUMMARY The Sr. Manager – Core Operations is responsible for the overall leadership, execution, and performance of core receiving, inspection, inventory control, reconciliation, and credit operations supporting remanufacturing activities at the SC facility. This role ensures safe, compliant, and financially accurate handling of core inventory while driving efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across all core-related processes. The Sr. Manager – Core Operations leads multi-level teams, manages high-value inventory, and partners cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to align operational execution with business objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide overall leadership for core receiving, inspection, reconciliation, inventory control, and credit issuance operations. Manage and develop supervisors, and frontline teams responsible for core operations. Oversee high-value core inventory, ensuring accuracy, valuation, and compliance. Ensure timely and accurate processing of core credits supporting large annual transaction volumes. Establish and manage KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and inventory accuracy. Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, standardized work, and process optimization. Partner with Finance to ensure accurate invoice processing and financial controls. Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain to align core availability with customer demand. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with all export requirements when shipping cores to 3rd parties. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Experience: 15–20 years of progressive operations leadership in remanufacturing, manufacturing, or distribution environments. Skills: Inventory management, financial controls, KPI management, cross-functional leadership, ERP systems (SAP/AS400), bilingual English/Spanish. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Frequent walking and standing in warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to inspect inventory and operational processes. WORK ENVIRONMENT Combination of professional office and warehouse/manufacturing environment using standard office and material handling equipment.
