77285 | Finance & Accounting | Professional | Non-Executive | Allianz Singapore | Full-Time | Permanent Entity: Allianz SE Singapore Branch #L1-RS1 Job Purpose The position, reporting to the Regional Head of Corporate Development and a member of the Allianz Asia Board, will be responsible for the development of Allianz’s investment and acquisition of businesses in Asia. What you do You will • Identify, evaluate, and executing new investment and M&A opportunities for Allianz in Asia • Lead execution of investment and M&A opportunities, including due diligence, negotiations, transaction documentation, final approvals, and integration planning • Develop growth strategy of Allianz in Asia, including identifying partnership opportunities and analyzing competitive trends • Lead cross-functional project team including finance, distribution, operations, and Group M&A in the evaluation of investments and M&A opportunities • Coordinate and oversee the development of financial models, including projections, synergy modeling, and scenario analysis • Manage third-party service providers throughout the deal execution phase, including actuarial firms, accountants, legal counsel, investment banks, and other consultants What you bring • MBA or comparable degree with an excellent academic record from a top-ranked university • 7 to 10 years of experience in investment banking or corporate development of a global financial company (insurance preferred) and Life Actuarial experience. • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to thrive under pressure • Superior analytical skills and financial acumen • Strong negotiations skills • Experience in major Asian markets, including proficiency with an Asian language • Demonstrated leadership ability • Successful record of project management with excellent organizational skills • Exceptional communication and presentation skills – written and verbal AI skills e.g. ChatGPT or Copilot an advantage What we offer We are one of the World’s Best Workplaces (Singapore 2024) & Great Place to Work.
