Strategic financial topics, sophisticated analyses and entrepreneurial decisions

For an established company in Berlin, we are looking for an experienced individual who combines financial analysis with strategic thinking and actively supports the company's development.

This position combines tasks from strategic controlling, corporate finance, and corporate management. You will work on complex financial issues, develop decision-making tools for management, and deal with topics such as company valuations, strategic investments, and the further development of financial management instruments.

We are looking for an analytically strong personality who can quickly grasp complex relationships, independently develop solutions and present financial information in an understandable way.

Your tasks

• Analysis of strategic and financial issues as well as development of sound decision-making principles
• Preparation of economic analyses, business cases and financial models
• Support in evaluating potential acquisitions, investments and strategic collaborations
• Support for due diligence processes and financial analyses
• Further development of management reporting and capital market-oriented analyses
• Conducting competitive, peer group and benchmark analyses
• Definition and further development of relevant financial indicators and control instruments
• Participation in financial planning, liquidity management and further development of forecasting methods.
• Creation of presentations, analyses and recommendations for management
• Optimization of existing controlling processes and reporting structures

Your profile

• Completed studies in the field of economics, finance, business administration, business mathematics or a comparable subject
• Several years of professional experience in strategic controlling, corporate finance, M&A, investor relations, investment banking or a comparable financial environment
• Solid experience with financial analysis, business cases, key performance indicators and financial models.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to present complex financial issues in an understandable and convincing manner
• Independent, structured and results-oriented work style
• Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when dealing with different contacts
• Very good German and English skills
