About the Role The Corporate Solutions Products and Finance Management Senior Manager for Group Insurance is responsible for leading the strategic development, pricing, and financial oversight of group life, medical, and credit life insurance products. This includes financial management & reporting of the CS Business Unit profit and loss (P&L), overseeing underwriting and actuarial services, and developing corporate solutions/product development tailored to client needs. The role also leads strategic planning initiatives to ensure long-term growth, market competitiveness, and operational excellence for AIA PH Corporate Solutions. Strategic Planning & Leadership: Lead the strategic planning process for Corporate Solutions business unit. Define long-term goals, market positioning, and innovation roadmaps. Align product and financial strategies with corporate objectives. Product Strategy & Development: Manage the full lifecycle of group life insurance products. Develop and enhance Corporate Solutions products tailored to institutional clients. Ensure product competitiveness and regulatory compliance. Financial Management: Own the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the Corporate Solutions business unit. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. Ensure profitability targets are met and sustained. Underwriting & Actuarial Oversight: Supervise underwriting guidelines and risk assessment frameworks. Collaborate with actuarial teams on pricing models and reserve adequacy. Ensure sound actuarial practices and regulatory compliance. Product Development & Marketing: Supervise market research and product lifecycle Ensure Product Marketing and Training roll-out results into increased Sales Ensure sound product development practices and regulatory compliance. Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and compliance teams. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to product and finance teams. Ensures risk and compliance are adhered to across supervised functions in Corporate Solutions. FINANCIAL AND NON-FINANCIAL MEASURES: Strategic Execution: Achievement of strategic milestones and initiatives. Alignment of business outcomes with strategic plans. Product Profitability & P&L Management: Target loss ratios, expense ratios, and overall profitability. Positive variance between actual and forecasted financials. Corporate Solutions Development: Number of new corporate solutions launched. Revenue contribution from corporate solutions products. Underwriting & Risk Management: Accuracy and efficiency of underwriting decisions. Claims ratio and underwriting turnaround time. Portfolio Growth: Year-over-year growth in gross written premiums (GWP). Increase in market share within the group life segment. Regulatory & Actuarial Compliance: Zero non-compliance incidents. Timely and accurate actuarial reporting. Stakeholder Satisfaction: Internal stakeholder and client satisfaction scores. Broker and partner feedback on product relevance and pricing.
