As Senior Manager, Customer Development, you’ll be the go-to partner for some of our most strategic key accounts, ensuring we continue to grow and deliver exceptional service. You’ll be a connector between our customers and internal teams—driving revenue, execution, and alignment across the supply chain.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead strategic customer partnerships by managing key accounts to drive volume goals via new placements, promotions, and merchandising.
  • Act as the expert on your assigned customer—know their business inside and out and align our efforts to support their goals.
  • Drive cross-functional execution by collaborating with internal teams like Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Brand Management to roll out new programs.
  • Champion internal alignment with other customer development team members to ensure a cohesive strategy across Aspire.
  • Deliver results by managing the business end-to-end and holding ownership of annual revenue targets.
  • Ensure product delivery expectations are met by working closely with production and supply teams.
  • Problem-solve quality or food safety issues swiftly, offering up solutions and action steps.
  • Lead presentations and meetings with customers, internal stakeholders, and at key industry events.
  • Deepen customer relationships by developing trust, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Be a thought partner for growth by championing distribution expansion, innovation, and future launches.
    This role will support the business from end-to-end supply chain, include planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales job design, sales training and sales program implementation. This role is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned sales organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, Customer Development and also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of sales or sales management experience, preferably in food or CPG
  • Proven track record of business development success and managing large Canadian brands or QSR accounts
  • A strategic mindset with the flexibility to operate at both high and granular level
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to both internal and external audiences
  • Collaborative style and ability to build strong relationships across departments
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
