A Snapshot of Your Day:
This position is responsible for developing and overseeing D2C Platform Operations for s.com across all customer segments. This role will be critical in supporting Samsung’s D2C eCommerce strategy and overall D2C growth, by delivering innovative platform enhancements, stable backend operations, best-in class content and be responsible for overall platform stability in line with global standards. The role is a critical function that will work directly with internal management, local sales teams, D2C and marketing teams as well as the regional center of excellence in charge of backend and frontend operations. You will be the internal evangelist to successfully deliver stable platform operations as well as innovation that resonate with the D2C growth ambition while lobbying support of internal stakeholders to ensure and drive quality of deliverables.
Role and Responsibilities

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Lead the implementation of technical products and setting standards for rollouts of new features
  • Day to day planning, leading, organizing and motivation of the scrum team(s) to achieve a high level of performance and quality in the delivery of outputs that provide exceptional value to business users
  • Oversee the Samsung.com and ShopApp Content Teams delivering best-in-class quality on daily basis
  • Act as liaison between the regional eStore team, regional development team & global platform teams
  • Maintain high-quality project documentation and build a regional knowledge repository
  • Process design and optimization to increase operations efficiency with markets and creative agency
  • Translate business /functional requirements into technical solutions & build related operational processes
  • Responding to ad-hoc requests from Suwon Office & effective communication with local stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

  • 12 years experience in eCommerce with Bachelors or 10 years with Master degree in Business/ IT or a relevant field
  • Experience as a Project/ Program Manager, Delivery or Operations Manager as well as deep knowledge of content strategies and planning and UX/ UI improvement activities including personalisation
  • Comfortable interpreting web traffic data and deriving actionable insights
  • Data visualization — Capable of assessing, analyzing, and presenting data, trends
  • Experience leading scrum teams as well as creative agencies
  • Knowledge of working with eCommerce systems, payment gateways, ticketing tools (AEM, SAP Commerce Cloud, Insider, JIRA, Medallia, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Internally and Externally)
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and Power BI is a plus
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently
