You will join a team of data scientists and data analysts who are responsible for building the pricing engine on our pricing platform. We build the algorithms that find the optimal combination of prices to achieve multiple targets, given multiple constraints and uncertain future outcomes. We are accountable to build pricing in one of the most complex areas of UnitedHealth Group, one of the largest companies in the world. We bring initiative, innovative thinking and curiosity to constantly evolve in a changing regulatory and competitive environment. The changes we make impacts the prices on over 150 million prescriptions in the US market annually.
As a Senior Manager Data Science, you will lead a team of data scientists that will be primarily responsible for financial forecasting and value measurement and have a secondary responsibility of contributing to the development of our pricing engine. You will be supporting your team in analyzing data, problem solving with the wider team, researching, prototyping solutions, building data pipelines, producing visuals, utilizing and augmenting the pricing engine prediction logic, developing pricing engine logic, and reporting out. You will be acting primarily in a management role. Your will do technical work when required to support your team. You are someone that has strong management and forecasting experience.
