WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Toyota’s Enterprise Data Science Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Manager of Data Science.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead our Marketing, Customer, and Sales Data Science team. This director-level role will drive data-driven strategies to enhance customer engagement, optimize marketing campaigns, and boost sales performance across Toyota’s North American operations.
Reporting to the Chief Data Scientist the person in this role will support the Enterprise Data Science department’s objective to leverage AI/ML for driving significant business efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a cross-functional team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions for marketing, customer, and sales.
  • Define and execute data science roadmaps aligned with business goals, including performance targets for customer acquisition, customer personalization, lifecycle management, and sales optimization.
  • Oversee the development of predictive models, such as marketing mix modeling (MMM), customer lifetime value (LTV) forecasting, and propensity models, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to integrate data insights into operations, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage resources, budgets, and talent development to build high-performing teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in AI/ML, big data, and automotive analytics to drive innovation, ensuring Toyota remains competitive in customer-centric data strategies.
