Description
The Senior Manager - Design Governance is senior member of the vertical sitting within the Design Excellence (DEx) department within CDU. Design Governance are responsible for implementing and maintaining design governance frameworks that ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all Qiddiya (QIC) projects. Design Governance vertical of DEx acts as a custodian of design principles, ensuring alignment of the designs with QIC objectives and unique identity. The manager will have to collaborate with cross-functional teams and their counterparts in various Business Units to monitor and ensure adherence to established governance processes. By extension they will help to drive continuous improvement of the Department and established design practices by feeding back any encountered adoption issues to the other DEx verticals. Develop and implement QIC-wide processes for reviewing and monitoring projects’ adherence to Board-approved CGIs and imagery, including concept and interior designs. Create, update, and maintain a centralized repository of dated Board-approved CGIs for reference and compliance tracking. Conduct systematic audits and coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to ensure compliance with approved designs and identify discrepancies. Collaborate with design, project management, and other governance teams to embed design standards and resolve compliance issues. Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement in design governance. Define clear workflows for design governance reviews, approvals, and escalation procedures. Coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to identify discrepancies and enforce corrective actions. Develop compliance dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility. Utilize advanced digital tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to analyze datasets and create visual dashboards that support informed, data-driven decision-making. Mentor and guide junior team members in project coordination, document preparation, and analytical tasks, contributing to the professional development of the team.
