The Senior Manager of EA Material Planning holds full strategic and operational ownership of material readiness across United’s aircraft modification programs (Engineering Authorizations, or EAs). This leader is accountable for driving cross-functional supply chain initiatives that enable seamless execution of modification schedules, ensuring material availability is never a constraint to operational success.
As a key leader within the Supply Chain organization, the Senior Manager defines the long-term vision, builds scalable processes, and delivers actionable insights that improve material planning accuracy, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement. The Senior Manager coordinates closely with their counterparts inside the supply chain to communicate project specifications, evaluate how supply chain processes can support the EA project plan, and make recommendations to ensure maximum alignment of supply chain delivery with aircraft modification schedule. This role collaborates across Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, and Procurement to align supply chain performance with enterprise-level modification strategies and reports directly to senior leadership on key program metrics, risks, and mitigation efforts.
