Important location update: This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the Event Strategy and Delivery Branch (ESD) during a period of growth and transition. Initially based at 530 Collins Street, Melbourne, the position will relocate to the new office at 465 Plummer Street, Port Melbourne. The new location will become the primary workplace for the ESD branch from January 2026, with some teams transitioning ahead of this date.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Reporting directly to the Director, Election Staffing this role will be responsible for:

  • Leading strategic and operational coordination of election staffing across electoral events.
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement in systems, workforce planning, and service delivery.
  • Building inclusive, scalable staffing models and represent the VEC in high-level stakeholder engagements.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and projects to ensure a capable, compliant, and representative election workforce.
