Job Description
ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Communications professional to support and drive an integrated communications approach in Central EMEA, reporting into Senior Director Communications, EMEA. The role will be responsible for leading integrated communications in the Central EMEA markets, with a focus on DACH, including the creation and execution of media engagement programmes, thought leadership development, executive profiling, social media organic programmes and employee communications.
This is a great opportunity to directly impact the regional growth, building ServiceNow’s brand awareness and reputation in the DACH as the AI platform for business transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong B2B tech background and experience in either or both agency and in-house communications environments and working knowledge of media, social and content programme frameworks. The role is based in either Frankfurt or Munich offices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of public relations experience within in-house or agency environment.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
  • Track record of creating, leading and executing impactful integrated communications campaigns, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with tech, business and social media, a background in B2B, enterprise software and/or cloud computing a plus.
  • Comfortable managing teams and PR agencies to deliver tier one media coverage, impactful content and strong social engagement – all within a defined budget.
  • Proven experience in developing content, including blogs, bylines, key messages and fact sheets.
  • Clear ability to balance multiple stakeholders and deadlines both globally and locally, identifying to priorities.
  • Confident working with senior executives to ensure they are continuously on point with corporate and regional narratives.
  • Ability to drive actionable insights through clear measurement against defined objectives.
  • Passion for storytelling and identifying trends, with an understanding of how they connect to the business narrative.
  • Creative and strategic approach to problem solving
  • Outstanding project management skills and resourcefulness under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated partnership and mutual respect with marketing counterparts in the region to deliver an aligned plan with results that help move the needle.

Responsibilities
  • As the head of communications for the EMEA Central region, you’ll work with many aspects of our business, both globally and regionally, driving strategies and narrative-led content campaigns across Paid, Earned, Shared and Owned media.
  • Develop, execute and manage integrated comms campaigns that tell the ServiceNow story in a compelling way—accessible to consumers and businesses, and highlighting customers, partners and influencers.
  • Work closely with business units to identify and exploit trends that expand ServiceNow’s leadership.
  • Drive and manage the PR, content and social agencies that support UK and Ireland.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to research, identify and develop stories that are relevant to key audiences.
  • Manage integrated communications to tell stories through multiple channels with a customer-centric lens.
  • Cultivate and engage relevant media and influencers.
  • Support on comms around key events such as London World Forum, Knowledge 23 and other local events.
  • Support on issues management in region with an eye to both internal and external impact.
  • Develop and own executive messaging and profiling for key UK and EMEA executives.
  • Build ServiceNow branded social communities and deepen interactions with UKI audiences.
  • Represent the EMEA team as the regional lead on global projects, as needed.
  • Own the Central EMEA communications budget, scopes of work and agency deliverables.
