  • Several years of experience in employee engagement and communications
  • Experience of working in a people intense organization and preferably within a People/HR team
  • Proven track record of developing and executing engagement strategies in a corporate setting
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in a global matrix organisation with strong senior stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish, both in speech and writing
  • If you have proven leadership experience that is a strong merit
  • Strong experience and vision for designing and creating engaging communication to various stakeholder groups
  • Flexible as a person with ability to combine strategic work with hands-on content creation and support
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager within Employee Engagement, you will strategically drive, plan, and co-execute the positive development of employee engagement in Fortum Consumer Solutions. You will lead, design and ensure that we deliver excellent employee communications for our community of colleagues. Your role will involve strengthening and promoting our culture and employee engagement, increasing pride in working for Fortum and for our business unit. You will also lead a small team of Employee Communication Specialists in a global matrix organization.

In this role you will:

  • Have a holistic responsibility over employee engagement communications in Consumer Solutions
  • Lead a team of Employee Communication Specialists
  • Be responsible for engagement strategy, planning and execution
  • Share Best Practices within Group Employee Engagement team and Function People team
  • Drive content creation for various purposes and channels
  • Event management – coordinate and co-own the execution of regular Open Doors, Townhalls and other internal events, such as Leaders Day
  • Change communications: support employees in the transformation journey with transparent and timely information
  • Support colleagues across the BU with communication related matters and engaging in close collaboration with all relevant functions and senior leaders

You will report to the VP People & Employee Engagement, Consumer Solutions. This position will be located at our HQ in Espoo, Finland.
