MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
  • Experience with regulatory filings, proceedings, compliance, administration, tariffs, and/or terms and conditions of service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certifications like Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), etc.
  • Two or more years of experience with Utility Customer Programs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains relationships with key players within the energy sector, including policy makers, regulatory agencies, and industry participants
  • Develops and integrates appropriate regulatory controls within systems and processes
  • Manages and oversees a list of contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements
  • Represents the organization’s best interest through input to consultation processes
  • Builds relationships with relevant regulators, energy infrastructure operators, exchanges and relevant counterparties through active participation in consultation processes, regulatory enquiries and industry forums
  • Oversees regulatory compliance, administration, tariffs, and terms and conditions of service
  • Develops and implements regulatory strategies and policies that support business strategies
  • Manages and engages with relevant agencies and participates in policymaking processes
  • Manages external counsel and consultants as necessary to achieve policy objectives aligned to the company’s objectives
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
