Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW Leads and mentors a team of Engineers supporting them through their career and growth. Oversee Engineers who implement new or improved processes, test system functionalities, and develop reports for our Distribution Center. Projects will include continuous improvement initiatives linked to our operational processes, as well as new activities in our DC and supporting the growth of the supply chain network Full time in the Cranbury, NJ Distribution Center. Option to work one day a week remotely. Potentially on call for remote support on selected Sundays PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support and lead aspects of different initiatives to ensure we are delivering high service and quality for our customers, and best in class working conditions for our DC employees to support projected sales forecasts Evaluate, prioritize and assign projects and initiatives for the team based on operational needs, payback, effort and interdependencies Manage budgets for improvements, contingency plans Review analyses and proposals from the team Drive projects and initiatives partnering with resources from multiple teams including engineering, DC operations, Beauty Tech (IT), vendors and / or other departments Analyze and evaluate distribution center systems, processes, layout and tools to implement improvements related to capacity, throughput, productivity, accuracy or visibility. Develop new processes and test system functionalities to support distribution operations and new customer requirements Propose and drive recommendations to streamline and standardize processes within the distribution center Conduct all other job-related activities. People Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Vice President, Distribution SUPERVISION EXERCISED Industrial Engineers Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED Minimum 7+ years experience in a distribution center or similar industry Advanced knowledge in Excel (e.g., Data management, pivot tables). Working knowledge of a WMS (Manhattan preferred) Comfortable in analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting analytical conclusions Experience managing others and projects Experience in continuous improvement initiatives Familiarity with Labor Management (preferred) Ability to work independently Curious, creative, and innovative Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate and present across all levels of employees and management Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple, concurrent priorities Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related engineering / science field preferred Additional Information LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure. While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $140,000.00 - $160,000.00.
