Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Engineering Programs to lead and manage our engineering projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project management, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to drive complex projects to successful completion. Must be in Eastern Standard Time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional global engineering programs from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, operations, quality, and business teams.
  • Drive program execution across multiple departments and time zones, ensuring milestones are met, risks are mitigated, and deliverables are consistently achieved.
  • Serve as the central point of accountability, escalating risks and issues proactively, and aligning teams across time zones and organizational boundaries to resolve challenges.
  • Partner directly with engineering and product leadership to drive strategic initiatives, align technical roadmaps, and ensure execution supports long-term business goals.
  • Translate executive priorities into actionable plans, ensuring engineering teams are focused on the highest-impact work, with clear visibility into progress and blockers.
  • Prepare leadership communications, dashboards, and operational reviews, providing insights that drive data-informed decisions across the technology organization.
  • Champion engineering team effectiveness and operating rhythm, driving improvements in planning processes, team communication, and program transparency.
  • Represent engineering in cross-company forums, ensuring tight integration with business, finance, and operations functions and maintaining alignment with company-wide priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 3-5 with masters, 8-10 without (combined work exp).
  • Experience in engineering program management or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
