Key leadership position to contribute to student experience Full time, continuing position Base salary of $156, 277 +17% superannuation About the opportunity Are you an experienced leader in student administration ready to shape how enrolment services support the student journey? We are seeking a Senior Manager, Enrolment Services to lead a large, high-performing team, consisting of multiple Team Leaders and their respective teams to deliver critical enrolment services across the student lifecycle at University of Sydney. Working under the broad guidance of the Director, Student Services, you will ensure enrolment services are responsive, compliant and aligned to strategic priorities. This role combines operational leadership with service improvement and transformation. You will work in partnership with students, student groups and stakeholders to coordinate processes, systems and services that enhance the student experience, while ensuring strong governance and policy compliance. As part of the Student Services Portfolio within the Division of the Academic Registrar, you will use data, benchmarking and stakeholder insights to drive outcomes, strengthen service delivery and foster a positive, engaged team culture. Why join us? lead a critical service area that supports students at every stage of their journey drive improvements that have a visible impact on student experience work in a collaborative, student-focused portfolio build and lead a large, engaged and high-performing team Your key responsibilities will be to: ensure effective planning and delivery of enrolment services across the student lifecycle in line with compliance obligations partner with senior leaders to contribute to strategic initiatives that improve the student experience align teams and resources to deliver on service priorities and defined outcomes prepare briefings and discussion papers for executive review with clear analysis and recommendations lead workforce planning, capability development and performance frameworks for the enrolment services team foster a positive, values-led team culture that drives engagement and performance identify and manage risks, issues and opportunities across people, processes and systems build trusted relationships with stakeholders and establish effective engagement mechanisms oversee review and improvement of systems, processes and procedures supporting enrolment services provide insights and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives to achieve service enhancement goals About you demonstrated high-level leadership experience, including human resource and financial management proven ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholder groups and build productive relationships excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with strong negotiation and conflict resolution capability strong time and workload management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results high-level problem solving skills and a track record of exercising initiative and sound judgement experience managing client services using platforms such as ServiceNow or similar case and knowledge management systems demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring and performance managing staff, and managing HR matters experience in student administration or student support programs with understanding of current student experience issues senior-level management experience with the ability to adapt, navigate ambiguity and lead through change.
