Your tasks

• You will take on the role of an operational leader for JD Edwards, leading, coaching and developing a team responsible for Enterprise Applications and Business Systems.
• You will work closely with stakeholders and the senior leadership team to identify business requirements and deliver scalable technology solutions.
• You are responsible for the roadmap of the enterprise applications and ensure that systems remain up-to-date, secure and aligned with the company's goals.
• You will work with IT teams, specialist departments and external partners to successfully implement system implementations, upgrades, further developments and rollouts.
• You will support budget planning, vendor management, contract negotiations, and compliance with software license requirements.
• You are responsible for governance processes for applications, change management, and system documentation.
• You will take over the administration and support of applications as needed, analyze complex problems and coordinate time-critical solutions.
• You manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a global, internationally distributed environment and ensure clear communication with stakeholders and executives.
• You promote the acceptance and use of applications through training, support, and initiatives for continuous process improvement.
• You identify opportunities to simplify the application landscape by replacing redundant systems and increasing overall efficiency.
• You will act as the central point of contact and subject matter expert for enterprise applications, especially for JD Edwards, and ensure the continuous performance, optimization and business value of the systems.

This is what you bring with you

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, life sciences or a comparable field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of Information Technology with responsibility for Enterprise Applications and Business Systems.
• Experience in leading teams and managing enterprise-wide applications in a complex business environment.
• Solid experience with the ERP system JD Edwards and the associated business processes.
• Strong technical understanding in the field of SaaS solutions and enterprise applications.
• Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methods and Application Governance.
• Experience in collaborating with external service companies, consultants and managed service providers.
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and differing stakeholder expectations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
• Curiosity and interest in new technologies and continuous improvement.
• Experience in supporting global organizations and internationally distributed teams is an advantage.
• Willingness to undertake national and international business trips.
