Description
The Senior EPIC Radiology/PACS Manager works as the secondary support contact for the Radiant/PACS applications. Participates in all phases of the system development life cycle including development of use cases and evaluation of software solutions. Works closely with the Associate Director of Ancillary Applications and technical teams in developing workflows and troubleshooting reported issues. The Senior Manager, EPIC Radiology/PACS role is a full time role that will require flexibility of schedules of working hours. Hours may be subject to change to support the application during upgrades and on call. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or other related field. * Working on medium to large size projects of 500-1000+ hours and proven ability to manage project or technical activities. * Prior experience with EPIC implementation and great understanding of imaging operations workflows. * EPIC Radiant Certification -- HIGHLY PREFERRED * Certificates in other Epic Outpatient Modules a plus * Knowledge of the hospital areas function and systems, technology alternatives, and ability to work effectively with client and Information Technology management and staff. * Ability to understand customer requirements and their impact on the technical aspects of a solution * Ability to work in a complex multi‑communication‑channel environment * Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams * Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues * Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to manage one's own work independently in a fast --paced environment with changing priorities. * Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Work PowerPoint, etc.)
