Description
The Senior Manager, EPIC Security is responsible for overseeing and managing the security aspects of the organization's applications. Ensures that applications are designed, developed, and maintained with robust security measures in place to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. Works closely with development teams, Information Technology, and other stakeholders to implement security best practices and respond to potential security threats. Maintains Epic applications user access, provider management along with data courier and environment release. The Security Application manager role is a full time role that will require flexibility of schedules of working hours. Hours may be subject to change to support the application during upgrades and on. Qualifications * Bachelor of Arts of Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field of study * Master's Degree -- HIGHLY PREFERRED * At least eight (8) years of experience in information security, with focus on application security. * Proven experience in managing security in complex environments and leading security teams. * Epic Security certification (or ability to get certified after employment) * Epic Data Courier * Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP) -- HIGHLY DESIRABLE * Deep knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security best practices. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders. * Experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls. * Highly organized with a keen attention to detail * Proactive and able to work independently with minimal
