Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Export Controls to lead our efforts in shaping and managing export control compliance within our organization. This role reflects our company’s dedication to compliance and its integral role in our business strategy. As the Senior Manager Export Controls, you will work closely with the Legal, RDD teams, and engineers to develop and implement robust export control processes and strategies.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to create, update, and maintain export control policies and procedures to align with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Determine product classification, including Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) for finished goods, spares and accessories, tooling and equipment, and software, ensuring accurate export documentation.
  • Prepare and submit export license applications to relevant government authorities for all products in scope and oversee license management.
  • Develop and deliver export control training programs to employees across the organization, including RDD teams, engineers, and relevant stakeholders, raising awareness and fostering a culture of compliance.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments for all products in scope to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess their impact on export controls, providing guidance on compliant integration.
  • Develop and oversee incident response procedures for export control violations related to all products in scope and report any non-compliance incidents to regulatory authorities when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with RDD teams, engineers, and cross-functional teams, including legal, supply chain, and product development, to ensure export control considerations are integrated into product design and production processes for all relevant products.
