Job Description Are you passionate about precision, process, and purpose? Freshworks is looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to help shape how we tell our financial story to the world. In this high-visibility role, you'll lead SEC reporting, guide complex accounting decisions, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure our filings reflect both accuracy and innovation. What You'll Do Own the full SEC reporting process (10-Ks, 10-Qs, proxies, and other filings), ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance Partner with leaders across Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Investor Relations to advise on accounting impacts of M&A, equity, and executive comp Provide expert guidance on technical accounting issues and emerging standards Drive automation, process improvement, and best practices across reporting Support SOX 404 compliance and maintain strong internal controls Contribute to month-end close and external audit activities Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tues - Thurs) from our San Mateo, CA headquarters. Qualifications 8+ years of accounting/finance experience, including Big 4 experience Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards Strong communicator who can simplify complex concepts for non-accountants Hands-on experience with Workiva, XBRL, SOX 404, and advanced Excel skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Active CPA preferred but not required Why Freshworks At Freshworks, we're reimaging how businesses connect with customers and employees. Additional Information The annual base salary range for this position is $161,200 - $230,000. This role is also eligible for a target bonus. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
