We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Manager – Facilities to join our Health and Education team and play a key role in leading end-to-end Hard FM service delivery outcomes within a complex acute hospital environment. Reporting to the Facilities Director, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support critical healthcare services at Bendigo Hospital. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday onsite role based in Bendigo. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: * Provide strong, visible leadership across Hard FM operations, ensuring safe, compliant and high-performing service delivery in a live hospital environment * Take end-to-end accountability for maintenance outcomes, including planned and reactive services, asset reliability and operational performance * Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture centred on continuous improvement and accountability * Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders including hospital leadership, Project Co and contractors, ensuring alignment with PPP contract requirements * Oversee operational performance, cost control and service delivery outcomes, driving efficiency, reliability and long-term asset optimisation What You’ll Bring * Significant leadership experience in facilities management within a large, complex site (hospital or PPP environment highly regarded) * A strong people leadership mindset, with demonstrated experience leading teams, developing capability and driving performance * Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, or a relevant trade discipline, or equivalent experience * Strong commercial and operational acumen, including budget management, contract performance and service delivery oversight * Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
