Learn more at http://enprc.emory.edu KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish preventive maintenance program and ensure safe and efficient operations of building equipment including boilers, HVAC systems & controls, life safety systems, and laboratory air & vacuum systems. Ensure that animal housing, clinical, and high containment spaces are maintained according to established standards and regulatory requirements. Maintains all facilities in accordance with OSHA standards and other federal and state guidelines and mandates. Manage contracts with outside vendors. Supervise and manage assigned staff and teams. Performs related responsibilities as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelors degree in facilities management or engineering and seven years general building/facilities maintenance experience, OR professional credentials, licenses, or vocational diplomas and 10 years general building/facilities maintenance experience. PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Substantial knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Office, laboratory, animal housing, and biosafety level 3 containment facilities. Work schedule to be discussed during interview.
