WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Reporting directly to the Director, Election Readiness, this role will be responsible for:

• Leading branch-wide collaborative efforts that support the design of procedures and instructional products
• Partnering with the Election Readiness senior leadership team to ensure major event strategies in relation to instructional products, are aligned with operational priorities and branch strategies
• Fostering an environment of continuous improvement across the Event Strategy and Delivery Branch.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project and program management, including budget management, resource allocation, and delivering to critical timeframes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with executives, senior leaders, operational teams and subject matter experts to align objectives and drive outcomes.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to crystallise complex concepts, timelines, and requirements into clear instructions and plans for diverse audiences.
• Commitment to the VEC’s core values and the delivery of accessible, transparent, and high-quality electoral services.
