SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Manager of Finance and Operations to join our Seattle team. This role is a key member of our finance organization and plays a critical part in supporting the Vice President, Corporate Controller in shaping financial strategies that strengthen regional performance and support long-term business growth. You will oversee financial planning and analysis, help drive operational excellence, lead budgeting and forecasting, and support investment decisions that shape the future of our Seattle operations. Location: Hybrid in Bothell, Washington Compensation: $124,320 - $170,940, based on experience ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Leadership Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and performance reporting. Deliver clear and actionable financial insights to support decision-making. Maintain KPI dashboards and ensure timely, accurate management reporting. Strengthen systems for financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and controls. Strategic Partnership Translate financial performance into practical business strategies. Advise senior leadership on growth, profitability, and operational improvement. Support short-term and long-term financing and develop forward-looking models. Cash Forecasting Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and cost controls. Implement strategies that ensure appropriate fund availability and resource protection. Operational Excellence Direct budgeting, capital planning, and cost optimization. Recommend initiatives to improve profitability, efficiency, and return on investment. Investment and Capital Allocation Oversee capital investments and ensure alignment to strategic goals. Manage budgets for local capital projects. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Operations, Strategy, Human Resources, and Technology to align financial and business priorities. Strengthen communication between Seattle and global headquarters. Leadership Development Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Risk and Compliance Ensure adherence to financial controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate accounting records and monitor financial risk. Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures Support due diligence, valuation, and integration activities. Assist with financial and operational transition processes. Other Areas Support implementation of accounting software and enterprise resource planning systems. Contribute to special projects and other assigned responsibilities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master of Business Administration degree strongly encouraged. Eight or more years of experience in finance and operations, including five years in managerial roles, ideally in life sciences. Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems and Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong ethical standards and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. Ability to build strong relationships and support business partners. Preferred Certified Public Accountant certification. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
