Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

An exciting Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner opportunity has arisen in LSEG’s Markets FX division!
Reporting to the division’s Finance Director, you will partner with the FX business leadership team and be integral to divisional commercial finance. LSEG FX offers outstanding international forex trading platforms and solutions to 4,000 customers, in 100 countries and averages 5 billion in daily notional trade volumes.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Partner and support on strategic decision making within the business.
  • Use underlying trends, future business plans and external market factors to compile divisional forecasts, budgets and multi-year plans.
  • Prepare or coordinate the divisions’ monthly business performance report management accounts, including insightful commentary on YTD results vs budget and prior year.
  • Work closely with the offshore financial planning and analysis team. Review volume, revenue and expense files prepared by them and find ways to encourage them to do more of the regular monthly reporting work.
  • Support the Finance Director with coordination of the monthly business review.
  • Closely partner the Global Head of FX Sales. Prepare annual sales team commission targets, quarterly commission calculations and monthly performance insight reports.
  • Track capital expenditure, allocation and the associated commercial benefits.
  • Monitor monthly operating expenditure, travel and entertainment spend and support cost saving initiatives.
  • Understand indirect overhead allocations from group, drivers and how they can be influenced or reduced.
  • Review the ongoing effectiveness of commercial and new business initiatives.
