Salary Band: 7 ($76,000 - $114,000 CAD)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, NetSuite and PBCS
  • Post-secondary education such as acquiring a university degree in a relevant discipline. Professional designation is required
  • Demonstrated communication skills and networking abilities with internal and external contacts
  • People Leadership experience is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to summarize and share information to teams in a cohesive nature
  • High degree of initiative, ability to solve problems and improve processes
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, commitment to meeting deadlines, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond to demands of changing priority levels throughout the day
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead a team both in-person and remotely ensuring overall team engagement

Responsibilities

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads and manages the finance team, providing mentorship and development opportunities by aligning the team’s talent and skills, review and clarify tasks and responsibilities for direct reports, create a cohesive team environment
  • Act as the finance leave in our Montreal office and hold regular meetings with the Finance Team located out of Montreal
  • Reviews and clearly defines tasks and responsibilities, sets up clear expectations and ensures resource allocation is in line with team and organizational priorities
  • Review the translated finance documents and all finance training and other meetings
  • Participate in Quebec all employee meeting and present financials as needed
  • Foster a high-performance culture that leverages the unique talents and strengths of each member while encouraging their growth and development.
  • Champion CCS as a hero in the face of cancer.
