About the Role Are you a finance professional who thrives on variety and impact? Join SingHealth Community Hospitals as a Senior Manager, Finance, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy across our community hospital operations and health fund initiatives. This is a unique dual-capacity role where you'll oversee financial operations for Outram Community Hospital (OCH) and the SCH Health Fund, whilst managing grant applications from both perspectives - providing financial guidance for SCH grant submissions, and evaluating applications on behalf of the SCH Health Fund Committee. If you enjoy wearing multiple hats and making a tangible difference in healthcare financing, this role is for you.   What You'll Do Financial Leadership & Analysis Drive month-end and year-end financial closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across OCH and SCH Health Fund operations Prepare insightful financial analyses and variance reports that inform management decisions Lead the annual budget cycle, working closely with business units to develop sustainable financial plans   Grant Management Develop compelling grant budgets and applications to secure funding for SCH programmes Review and evaluate grant applications for the SCH Health Fund Committee, ensuring alignment with funding guidelines Provide secretariat support for Committee meetings, including minute-taking and materials preparation Monitor grant claims and financial reporting to ensure compliance and sustainability   Audit & Compliance Coordinate external and internal audits, serving as the key liaison with auditors Maintain robust internal controls and design improvements where gaps are identified Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements   Team Development Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture   What We're Looking For Essential: Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification At least 8 years of progressive finance experience with strong financial planning and analysis capabilities Minimum 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role Proven track record in management reporting and in-depth variance analysis Experience coordinating audits and working with external/internal auditors Strong understanding of internal controls and financial risk management   Highly Valued: Experience in grant management or funding applications Familiarity with SAP financial modules and BPC (or similar budgeting systems) Membership in professional bodies (ISCA, ACCA)   Your Strengths: Analytical excellence - You dig deep into numbers and translate them into actionable business insights Business acumen - You understand how finance drives operational decisions Stakeholder management - You build strong relationships and navigate competing priorities with ease Meticulous attention to detail - You ensure deliverables are Accurate, Complete and Timely (ACT) Adaptability - You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines   Why Join Us?
