Job Description: Department Overview The Global Transaction Banking Channels Technology team is responsible for building a strategic Channels platform that will enable best-in-class experiences and make it faster and simpler to bring new solutions to our clients. The Channels team manages the systems through which we interact with customers, including portals and connectivity. Job Description: The Sr. Manager, Finance, is responsible for leading the financial performance management of the Channels Technology organization for TDS Transaction Banking. The role will focus on building and operating a disciplined financial management system that enables the organization to maximize value delivery. Responsibilities will include budgeting, forecasting, reporting and delivering analytical insights that will help guide operating strategies and continuous efficiency improvements. The role will require strong partnerships with technology leaders, the Transaction Banking Finance and Program Management teams, and other partner teams within the Transaction Banking ecosystem to provide value-added analysis and manage financial performance with precision. The successful candidate will be context-driven, possess a strong understanding of – or willingness to learn – strategy, technology and delivery, and is motivated to build quantitative storytelling that enhances the team's ability to link everyday decisions to value. Key Accountabilities Build out and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A cycles, including forecasts, plan, budgets, and reporting Construct detailed analysis, budgets and forecasts for all key initiatives that enhance understanding of cost drivers, risks and operating decisions Prepare and oversee management reporting, dashboards, and executive-level presentations with clear, concise commentary. Key contributor to continuous improvement initiatives, including reporting optimization, data quality enhancements, and process efficiencies Work to maximize value by conducting business and/or financial analysis to support strategic assessments Actively manage relationships within and across various partner teams, corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements Contribute to team development of skills and capabilities through mentorship of others, by sharing knowledge and experiences and leveraging best practices. Skills, Education & Experience Knowledge of the Bank's financial reporting systems (e.g. Hyperion, FRS, PSGL, Oracle, Clarity), MS Office, required. 9+ years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or corporate finance, preferably in banking or financial services. Ability to work through ambiguity Expertise working effectively in teams Excellent analytical skills in assessing risk, issues and challenging the status quo Knowledge in business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx) an asset Undergraduate degree required; Post Graduate degree would be an asset.
