Overview A leading international consulting and advisory organization is looking for a Senior Manager – Finance Transformation to support the continued growth of its Finance Transformation practice. The successful candidate will help organizations redesign and optimize their Finance operating models, processes, governance structures, and technology landscape while contributing to business development and client relationship management activities. Start date: To be agreed Workload: 100% Location: Zurich Responsibilities Lead and deliver Finance Transformation engagements focused on operating model redesign, process optimization, and technology-enabled transformation. Support clients in defining and implementing Finance Target Operating Models and future-state Finance organizations. Design and implement improvements across core Finance processes such as: Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) Order-to-Cash (O2C) Record-to-Report (R2R) Financial Closing & Reporting Advise clients on Finance shared services, outsourcing models, governance frameworks, and Finance Business Partnering structures. Assess and optimize Finance technology landscapes, identifying opportunities for automation, digitalization, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. Lead workstreams within large-scale transformation programs involving multiple business and technology stakeholders. Contribute to business development activities, proposal preparation, and client acquisition initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with senior Finance stakeholders, including CFOs, Transformation Leaders, and Finance Directors. Profile Required Experience 7 to 10 years of professional experience within Management Consulting, with a strong focus on Finance Transformation. Proven track record delivering Finance transformation projects within complex organizations. Strong understanding of: Finance operating model design Shared Service Centers (SSC) Global Business Services (GBS) Outsourcing models Governance frameworks Process optimization and automation KPI design and benchmarking Business case development Experience supporting Finance technology transformation initiatives and digital Finance programs. Technical Knowledge Good understanding of leading Finance technologies and platforms such as: SAP Microsoft solutions Financial reporting and workflow tools Digital Finance platforms Knowledge of emerging technologies including automation, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence applied to Finance functions. Personal Skills Strong business development mindset and ability to identify and develop new client opportunities. Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to engage with senior executives. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in complex transformation environments. Languages Fluent English required. German is a strong advantage. French is considered a plus.
