(Senior) Manager Finance Transformation (f/m/d) - JobID 26439

In our new Finance Transformation team , we are working to holistically optimize our global finance operations and future-proof them. Operating close to the board, like an in-house consultancy, we collaborate with the CFO, CTO, and the management teams of all business units to develop a Finance Transformation Roadmap with strategic and operational improvement measures, such as:

• Order-to-Cash: Quotation preparation, invoicing, receivables management, cash steering
• Procure-to-Pay: Standardization, Shared Service Center Establishment, Accounts Payable Centralization
• Record-to-Report: Accounting processes, consolidation, financial close optimization
• Plan 2 Perform: FP&A Transformation, Data Analytics, Reporting Automation
• Cash Management: Liquidity Management, Payment Optimization, Working Capital Improvement

We combine finance expertise with operational transformation know-how and realize direct cash effects through smart process optimization and automation.

Here's what you'll do with us:

• Active management of finance transformation projects addressing strategic and operational issues within our global finance transformation program.
• Analysis and identification of improvement potential across the entire Finance Value Chain (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Plan-2-Perform) with a focus on working capital optimization and cost efficiency.
• Responsibility for and management of transformation projects along a clear business case – typically parallel levers with multiple measures.
• Leading internal finance teams to design, pilot and implement the identified measures across multiple business units and countries.
• Data-driven analysis and development of finance KPIs (DSO & DPO optimization, cost reduction, working capital management) to identify optimization potential and manage the transformation.
• Preparation and execution of workshops with Group / Business Unit Finance Leadership, Operations Teams, IT partners and management as well as our external shareholder
• Creation and implementation of communication, training and change concepts for successful transformation and adoption in finance teams.
• Collaboration with technical partners (including SAP S4/Hana, Agentic AI developers) for the digitization and automation of finance processes.
• Responsibility for the further development of our finance teams in project management skills and transformation competencies.

This is what we expect from you:

Experience & Expertise:

• A very good degree in economics, such as business administration & finance, business informatics, or a similar field of study.
• Several years of professional experience (min. 3+ years) in Finance Strategy & Transformation, Operations Management or in-house consulting with proven large-scale projects
• Understanding of E2E Finance processes: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Finance Planning & Analytics (not specializing in just one area!)
• Working Capital & Cash Flow Expertise – Understanding the interrelationships of processes and working capital management
• Experience with Transformation Program Management: at least 3-5 measures managed concurrently as part of a transformation program
• SAP / ERP systems knowledge – basic understanding and practical hands-on know-how in FI, CO, MM modules
• Digitalization & Automation: Understanding the application of AI for structured problem solving
• Initial to several years of experience in project or program management with responsibility for scope, timeline, budget and quality gates
