Our audit support function is split into the Office of the Auditor-General and Corporate Services.What's the role? Senior Managers at VAGO are dynamic, adaptable leaders who motivate and coach others to achieve their work goals. They are responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of financial audits within a government sector and will perform the engagement leader or team leader roles on selected audits.  Senior managers may also manage and deliver business improvement initiatives and write reports to Parliament.   VAGO’s Senior Managers are rigorous and innovative in their approach to work and are motivated by the challenge of promoting continuous improvement in the Victorian public sector. You don't need to tick all the boxes to be amazing.  We’d still love to hear from you.Qualifications A sound working knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards, legislative and regulatory requirements.   Must hold a full professional membership with CPA Australia, CAANZ or the IPA.   Experience undertaking audits or complex investigations, inquiries, or reviews.   Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Science, Technology, Economics or Mathematics.
