THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION AND WILL REQUIRE THE INDIVIDUAL TO WORK 1 DAY IN THE AMS TORONTO OFFICE.

We are currently looking for a Senior Manager- Financial Planning and Analysis to support the Head of Finance in the Americas to drive business performance leading to the attainment of financial targets for the region. The successful applicant will own financial analysis for a dedicated global client, complement Management Accounting support on some transactional elements and should be ready to take on leadership responsibilities as the region grows.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Financial Planning

  • Support the quarterly Forecasting and Annual Budgeting process
  • Support Operations input into financial system and challenge assumptions, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Working with client service teams and performance management teams to get budget and forecast details.
  • Support Head of Finance (Americas) to compile forecast reports, analysis for presentation to leadership.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in accounting is a must
  • 8 years of experience in an accounting or financial planning role is a must have.
  • 4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst is a must
  • 2-3 years of experience in a leadership position
  • Experience working with a RPO or a Consulting firm is preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Power BI
  • Strong preference for experience working with IBM Planning & Analytics (Cognos/TM1)
  • Strong background in finance systems
  • Experience in Forecasting, Budgeting and Strategy
  • Ability to take initiative and foster relationships with different areas of AMS
  • Comfortable with KPI Reporting and Presenting to Stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with operations and other key players in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to analyze trends and make deductions/insights from them - especially in the Service Industry
  • Ability to show resilience and manage priorities.
