About the role:
The EMEA Brand Finance team provides strategic insights and guidance to drive TH and CK EMEA strategy and performance. The team services the dual brand structure to further advance the brand focus. This team focuses on Retail and Channel Finance for O&O Full Price and Outlet, as well as E-commerce Platforms, and investment management. As a key member of this team, you will drive enhanced business performance, partnering with the Regional Brand EVP and Global Finance Brand Teams to execute EMEA strategies, and guide to operationalise Brand plan in-market.
The FP&A Brand Finance, Business Planning Senior Manager is responsible for coordinating consolidated brand-level planning and reporting, P&L management, and driving strategic projects. You will partner closely with Brand Strategy, Global and Regional Finance teams, and other teams as required to support the annual planning process and drive high-level finance initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring that the EMEA region meets its financial goals and achieves sustainable business success.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Finance generalist leadership: Act as a central finance partner, driving high-level, cross-functional financial initiatives and strategic coordination. Ensure alignment and coordination between commercial strategy and financial execution across the dual-brand model.
  • Brand financial reporting: Lead monthly and quarterly reporting across both brands, delivering clear, insightful analysis of key performance metrics. Deliver accurate forecasts and budgets, incorporating aligned inputs from Retail, E-Com, Product, and Marketing Finance teams.
  • Inventory management support: Partner with Brand inventory management teams to analyse stock levels, sell-through, and markdowns, supporting decisions that protect brand margin and working capital.
  • Data analytics: Conduct targeted financial analysis and scenario modelling to support emerging priorities, strategic questions, or investment considerations. Translate financial data into actionable insights to support decision-making by senior leadership.
  • P&L management: Consolidate the end-to-end brand P&Ls, ensuring accuracy and alignment across channels and functions.
  • Brand planning: Partner with Brand Strategy to support the annual brand planning cycle, integrating financial and strategic objectives.
  • Impact and communication: Involved in developing Brand Finance plans alongside other Brand Finance leads, defining organisational priorities, interacting with executives, and influencing senior-level leaders.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for improving payroll systems, processes, and efficiencies.

Measures of Success:

  • ROI: positive ROI on major brand projects and investments
  • Gross margin: year-over-year improvement in brand-level gross margin performance.
  • Operating expenses: improve operating expense ratio through coordinated planning and cost discipline.
  • Cost savings: exploit cost-saving opportunities through better inventory, markdown, or operating cost decisions.
  • Revenue: sustained revenue growth across brands and channels
  • Inventory efficiency: improved sell-through and stock turn

The preferred candidate is a dynamic leader, motivated by building and sustaining a skilled and engaged team, with deep expertise in Brand Finance and Planning. You have been accountable for driving, operationalising, and prioritising key initiatives from ideation to delivery. You are passionate about fostering a high-performance culture to enhance team performance and engagement. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the following:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance, with a focus on Brand Finance or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of brand-level financial dynamics, including P&L structure, inventory management, and gross margin.
  • Skilled in data analysis and modelling to create budgets, financial reports, forecasts, etc.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and influence key business drivers and goals.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to use metrics and insights to shape strategy and drive efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, build relationships, and collaborate effectively with global teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages as required.
