We’re seeking a talented Senior FP&A Manager to join our Finance team in North Sydney, reporting directly to the Head of FP&A. About the Role As Senior FP&A Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering quality outcomes across FP&A, accounting, and costing. You’ll partner with the business to provide financial and commercial management, focusing on business performance and supporting key projects to help achieve our strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of financial and management accounts for the Australian market, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards. Provide insightful analysis and ad hoc support to the Head of Finance and Group CFO. Review monthly results, offering clear analysis and feedback, particularly around forecasts, budgets, and prior year comparisons. Recommend and implement improvements to commercial support processes. Oversee capital expenditure reporting, risk management, and variance analysis. Drive reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts, working closely with your team and shared services. Manage inventory financial support, including stocktakes, cost accounting, and end-of-life cycle management. Lead, coach, and develop a team of three, fostering a culture of high performance and engagement. Coordinate the annual budget and rolling monthly forecasts, championing the use of Jedox for planning and reporting. What We’re Looking For Strong technical accounting skills, with experience producing full monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow). Advanced financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting abilities. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset. Advanced Excel financial modelling skills; BI development, SQL, and database skills are a plus. Proven ability to inspire, lead, and introduce change. At least 10 years’ management accounting experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (public company experience preferred). Degree in accounting (or major in accounting) and CPA/CA qualification. Ready to Apply?
