Responsibilities

POSITION ROLE TYPE:

Remote

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Set up schedule and establish Performance Measurement Baseline
  • Update/maintain schedule across the program, while monitoring the development and maintenance of the critical path, network logic, and schedule forecasting
  • Perform analysis on the schedule to convey trends and issues to program leadership. Analyze the Critical Path to ensure it makes sense and schedule is meeting customer deliverables.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports and briefings (EACs, PMRS, CAM Reviews, IPMR/IPMDAR, etc.) to management
  • Expert in all tools (Project O365, ISAT, CT3 Toolbar, OnePager, Full Monte, etc.). Leads activity to develop new tools.
  • Work in parallel with the project cost analyst to ensure the cost and schedule are integrated. Understands PP&C key processes and procedures.
  • Independently evaluate RFPs, contracts, and eCARs (SOW, CDRLs, ETC) Provide feedback with questions, concerns, recommendations.
  • Knowledgeable of the engineering development life cycle, discern processes, and/or data that conflicts technically
  • Assists in the training, mentoring, and development of other Scheduling Analysts, and assumes supervisory responsibilities as delegated in the department manager’s absence.
  • Conduct Peer Reviews of Master Schedules, Health Metrics, EACs Metrics, etc.
  • Lead updates and makes recommendations on Avionics/ Collins / RTX rules, policies, and procedures, including approval thresholds and Collins Management System (CMS). Assists in development and monitor department procedures.
  • Apply knowledge and educate program teams of company policies, procedures, & guidelines to ensure plans and schedules are in compliance
  • Understands Financial contractual obligations, contract types, billing types, material processing, balance sheet and income statement process and procedures.
  • Capable of leading the development of the Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS)
  • Candidate must possess the ability to work in both a highly technical and team-based environment having high visibility and major time constraints
  • Ability to Travel up to 5%

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
