We are looking for a skilled Senior Manager, Global Reward Services to join our client in San Francisco, CA.

We are seeking a Senior Manager with expertise in Global Reward Tax. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, exceptional client service, and technical expertise across global reward and taxation functions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive global tax, compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR-related services as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, offering in-depth advice on operational and process issues while mentoring junior team members.
  • Manage the financial and risk aspects of engagements, including billing, collections, and scope management.
  • Lead client meetings and ensure timely project delivery by conducting planning sessions and team debriefs.
  • Develop and present practical, tax-focused recommendations to clients and prospects to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate across service lines to enhance business development efforts and internal initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship, delegate tasks effectively, and offer growth opportunities to team members.
  • Support clients with expert advice on global compensation, equity taxation, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in domestic and global employment tax consultancy.
  • Drive process improvement and innovation within engagements to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of recent experience in taxation, global reward tax, or related fields.
  • Experience working within the Big Four or a similar firm with a tax background is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or other relevant credentials (e.g., CEBS, CCP, CPP).
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading large-scale client engagements and managing service teams.
  • Strong technical proficiency across total rewards, executive compensation, and global mobility taxation.
  • Previous experience in the tax sector is required, ideally within a Big Four firm.
